The value of any contrived legal theory is in the lawyers hired to argue it.

About a hundred miles north of the City, on the interstate, there's a big factory. Built onto the front wall of the factory is an enormous pair of Groucho Marx glasses, complete with nose, moustache and eyebrows.

The general manager explained, "We make prescription medicines here. Generic versions of patented drugs."

But, isn't that illegal?

He pointed at the glasses, "Can't you see? It's satire! It's legally protected fair use of intellectual property for humor value! We're manufacturing and selling the drugs ironically!"
