The Secret of Summer

He was running down the street, ragged and screaming like a man from a disaster movie. He grabbed me by the shoulders in a way that would seem ridiculous until someone actually does it.

"Run for your life!" He said, his eyes focused on something far too far away.

"What is it?"

"Bad ideas!" His hands were trembling, and he was poised to continue running at any moment. "Someone's going to have a very dumb idea, and they'll spout it loudly! You've got to run, kid! Run away from the bad ideas!"

And he took off down the street.
