When I walked in, the doctor's office was very nice and business-like, but when I walked out, they were in awe, and more than a little frightened.
I'd never had it checked before, so I don't know how long it's been there, but apparently I have an extra muscle in my back. Just a tiny little muscle, on the right side. On one side, the muscle anchors into the bottom of my shoulderblade.
The other side bends into the fourth dimension, to the exact same spot on my shoulderblade, five minutes later. Four minutes when I'm really tensed up.
They're not sure, but they think that if it spasms, I might duplicate into two identical Teds, each with double the intellect but a very sore back. Or it could erase causality entirely.
I'm icing it as we speak.
