Must be expensive.

The sign at the laundromat said "We will be responsible for all lost, stolen or damaged goods." I thought at first the "not" fell off. Then I spoke with the manager.

"I lost $20 at Disneyland on the Monorail, back when I was eleven," I said. And she handed me a sawbuck, just like that.

How do they stay in business? Volume!

EDIT: This post contains a factual error. A sawbuck is a ten dollar bill, not a twenty, so, she actually gave me a double-sawbuck. Thanks to Cobra Commander prester_scott for pointing this out. I strive to keep my journal free of all inaccuracy, of course.
