The moment I walked in I started having feelings.
"I'm having feelings," I said.
"Yeah," said my co-worker, "Me too."
"Hush," said his sister, "that's on purpose. Chloe made all her big money doing aromatherapy for industrial purposes, like making offices smell like citrus to keep employees alert and so on. Now she's retired and she does abstract aromatherapy. She uses unrecognizable and original scents, and with them she evokes unrecognizable and original emotions."
It did smell really nice in there. It just made me have feelings.
"And you're okay with this?" I asked her.
"I don't know," she said, "My reaction is... you know."
