The Egyptian Embassy keeps telling me it's a vitally important protection of civil rights, and some trade council or another from Nippon insists that technology can't move forward without it.

I don't care. I really don't like hot tar on my hands, and, besides, the South American Scarlet Macaw is a noble and decent animal with a right to its own dignity. Six million dollars in Egyptian bonds be damned, I'm not switching jobs.
