World War II was a tough time for me. I mean, 1939 was a hard year for me, money-wise, so when the Foreign Legion started advertising in my favorite periodicals, I took them up on it.

"Insect Warriors needed," read the ad, "No experience necessary. Join the Foreign Legion! Fight the Axis! Grow an additional set of limbs and a hard carapice."

Who could ask for more? Well, maybe multifaceted eyes, but they covered that too.

....but, as I'm sure you're all aware, World War II involved more than a little chemical warfare. Who knew that bug spray would be a part of it?
