Habits of Highly Successful People

So, I've taken to tailing the rich and successful, and watching what they do to find out how I can do it.

The first thing I've discovered is that rich and successful people don't tail rich and successful people. So I must be doing that wrong.

The second thing I've discovered is this little office downtown.

I sneaked in and made an appointment for an initial consultation, without really asking what it was.

At the initial consultation, they explained the business. Proscriptive Palmistry. They have palm readers and surgeons on staff, to reconstruct the palm for a better fate. The $1800 initial fee was not covered by insurance, they said, but it would pay off, of course, when great fortune, love, and personal happiness came to you as a result of changes in your palm structure.

I paid them the $1800, but asked for a life of misery, poverty, and loneliness.

That was probably a bonehead move on my part.
